The Mindful, Self-Compassionate Path to Sparking Intuition

Last time we connected here we touched on the empowering sense that can come from not only surrendering into a moment simply because it's happening, but from also consciously choosing to believe that whatever “waves” roll through our life are in service of our soul's highest good.

This practice intersects naturally with another of my favorite topics — and one that's central to just about every wonderful woman I partner in 1:1 coaching with:

Tapping into our intuition.

Because connecting to intuition is a practice of tuning into the energy — lighter, faster, invisible “wave” form — coursing through a given moment of life as experienced through the vessel of our physical bodies — denser “particle” form of energy materialized as matter.

On the intuitive level, we might experience this energy as a felt sense of deep knowing in the body (this is how intuition usually shows up for me), as words received from some unidentifiable source, or as an image in the mind.

And intuitive information is always gently nudging us energetically forward toward a next step that's aligned with our highest good.

So much of living an intuitive, soul-infused life is about allowing ourselves to drop below the surface chatter of the mind to connect more deeply and directly with the flow of life force coursing through our being in this moment.

And so much of spiritual life — life bent toward growth and flourishing — is about staying as fluid and flexible and ready to lightly dance with the energy of life in a given moment as we can.

This is why I refer to the type of work I do as a coach as Integrative Mindfulness Coaching.

Because our insights don't just stay at the mental/intellectual level. They drop into our body as embodied wisdom on a somatic, cellular, energetic level.

As that authentic embodiment settles into our being and as we stay dedicated to strengthening our heart muscles through practices like loving-kindness, our intuition lights up as well.

We naturally find ourselves feeling more attuned to the flow of subtle energy within and around us.

You may already be noticing this in your own life: That the more you pump up your mindfulness muscle of nonjudgmental, curious awareness the more your intuition sparks.

This is where life starts to feel (vastly) more easeful, joyful, playful, and “in the flow.”

The more our intuition ignites, the more we feel supported by mysterious “coincidences” and magical synchronicities in our lives.

We feel increasingly connected to the universal flow of energy and collective consciousness.

We become spacious enough to hold the Both/And of the reality that we are both particle and wave in these human experiences, existing simultaneously on the relative and universal plains.

And cultivating our mindfulness and self-compassion muscles is a pathway into this intuitively-guided, soul-infused, universally-supported way of doing life.

If you're feeling called to step into this type of joyful, deeply connected life for yourself, send me an email so we can chat. I love nothing more than supporting women in learning to trust their innate intuitive wisdom more fully and experiencing the awe and delight at the next-level-flourishing of their lives through that wisdom.

And if you're interested in some tips on discerning between intuition and fear, this blog post is for you.

With Love,

Melissa
